On the other hand, what a lot of very serious people do argue about is the best path for young people.
As makerspace developers, you could make the case that self-direction and self-determination are the only ways to prevail in this post-Globalism world. I would also add that self-direction and self-determination are concepts that you can be build a theory of upward mobility on.
This brings us back to today’s topic. How makerspace development flips the script on upward mobility. The short answer is that it puts the decision making into the hands of those who do the hard work.
Obviously, this won’t work for every business opportunity. It may work well enough that a lot of people can find their way out of poverty or at least into the workforce.
